Every 13,000 years on Earth a sacred and secret event takes place that changes everything. The Kundalini Energy of Mother Earth emerges from its resting place in the Heart of the planet and moves like a snake across the surface of our world. Once at home in ancient Lemuria, it moved to Atlantis, then to the Himalayan Mountains of India and Tibet, and with each relocation our idea of what spirituality means has changed. This time, with great difficulty, the Serpent of Light has moved to the Andes Mountains

This adventure also offers a rare opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Arrieros. These traditional Chilean cowboys have braved the rugged Andes for centuries, herding livestock with unparalleled skill and living in harmony with nature. Witness their way of life as they ride gracefully through mountain trails, don traditional ponchos, and embody the wisdom of generations past.
Embarking on a horseback journey through the Andes requires specialized equipment designed for comfort, safety, and efficiency. The traditional gear used by the Arrieros and experienced riders in the Andes reflects centuries of wisdom, adapted to the rugged terrain and long hours in the saddle. Each piece serves a specific purpose, ensuring both rider and horse are well-prepared for the challenges and beauty of the mountains.
Chilean Saddles

"Monturas Chilenas"
These are traditional Chilean saddles, designed for long rides in the Andes. They provide exceptional comfort for both the horse and the rider, thanks to their layered construction, which evenly distributes weight and prevents soreness. Their ergonomic design is ideal for navigating steep and uneven terrain.
Leather Stirrups

"Estribos de Cuero"
Leather stirrups not only support the rider’s feet but also offer protection from brush and branches encountered along the trails. Their robust design ensures durability and stability, essential for maintaining balance during extended rides.
Leather Leg Protectors

"Pierneras"
The pierneras are protective leather leg coverings used by riders to shield their legs from brush, thorns, and rough terrain. They are an essential piece of equipment for long rides in the rugged Andes, ensuring comfort and safety. These leg protectors are strapped securely to the rider's thighs and calves, providing a durable barrier against abrasions and keeping clothing intact. Additionally, they contribute to the traditional appearance of the rider, reflecting the authentic style of the arriero.
Leather Reins

"Riendas de Cuero"
Reins are crafted for durability and precise control. They allow riders to effectively guide and communicate with their horses while ensuring the horse’s comfort and freedom of movement.
Wool Saddlebags

"Alforjas"
Wool saddlebags are durable and waterproof, providing secure storage for personal items, tools, or provisions needed during the journey. Their compact design ensures they do not interfere with the horse's movement.

Yerba mate has been a traditional drink in South America for centuries, offering numerous health benefits. Rich in caffeine, antioxidants, potassium, amino acids, and vitamins, yerba mate aids cardiovascular health by preventing cholesterol buildup in arteries. It also increases “good” cholesterol (HDL), helps slow aging by protecting cells from oxidation, and boosts physical endurance by speeding up metabolism. Typically consumed as a hot beverage, yerba mate is prepared by steeping crushed leaves and stems in hot water, often shared among friends in a gourd with a metal straw, fostering community and tradition.
